After a few weekends of no footy we were back on the park in very wet conditions to take on St Clair.

Once again our first quarter let us down, with the Crows easily breaking through our defence and getting six goals and three behinds to our one behind.

The boys found some encouragement at quarter-time and had a fantastic second quarter, defending hard and pushing forward and putting some handpasses and passages of play together. Evan and Caleb particularly made a big impact through good tackling. We scored one goal to one behind from St Clair.

The players seemed more focussed at half-time despite the pouring rain, mud and cold, but we couldn't maintain the focus through the third quarter. Again St Clair took the game away, and by the end of the quarter the 10-goal rule was invoked. The fourth quarter was a free-for-all scratch match.

Many of the boys enjoyed just getting covered in mud!

Thank you to Greg Griffin and Bryce Nolan for running the water and getting very wet, and Peter Ankovics our goal umpire. His flags were drenched by the end of the game!
