It was a lovely day to head down to Ingleburn to take on the Magpies, although the clouds came over late in the game and you could feel the winter chill in the air.

We won the game convincingly, however it was played in good spirit and sportsmanship right to the final siren.

Damian and Blake, who normally defend our goals, went forward for a change; Damian bagged four goals and Blake two.

Our other goal scorers were Julian, Ezadine, Max G, Max M and Jamal.

The Magpies played the game out without switching players around, and this gave Alessio freedom to let our boys play in unfamiliar positions on the field. We're looking forward to playing South West Tigers in the next round!
