After a deluge of rain during the week, Cumberland Council wouldn't open Gipps Road for our clash against the Lions. Fortunately the game was rescheduled at Greenway Park, a neutral field for both teams and a bonus that the boys could get out and play a game of footy on a sunny day!

The first quarter set the game up for the Goannas. Our boys came out firing, kicking six goals and three behinds with the Lions only kicking one behind.

It was pretty even in the second quarter with both teams kicking two goals, but in the third quarter the Goannas kicked away and the 10 Goal Rule* was invoked for the final quarter.

Thanks to Jack and Martin for running messages, Julian for running the water, and George for running the boundary. I think Max waved the flags for us today; apologies if it was someone else. I appreciate everyone who steps up to help on the day!
