The boys had a tough game today against a strong Emu Plains team. Our performance was marked by a lack of concentration and focus and ball handling mistakes. We did not play to our usual standards particularly in the first half of the game. This led to Emu Plains establishing a lead that was hard to claw back especially in wet conditions.

The boys worked hard in the second half and levelled the score before a late goal on the buzzer for Emu Plains sealed the win for the away team. The final score was 26-22.

Andrew received our man of the match for his work in the middle field, and Dean received our encouragement award for his effort throughout the game.

We will work on our focus and commitment this week in training and look to improve next weekend.
