Club Photo Day and an early game for us today at Goanna Park. Thank you to the boys and parents for getting there on time and the good manners shown whilst our photos were being taken.

There was a chill in the air but the sun was shining! The boys got away to a good lead in the first quarter with goals kicked by Robbie, Billy, Max M and Nicholas K. This continued throughout the second quarter with Robbie adding to his tally and Luke getting in on the act!

Peitok dominated the ruck and got the ball out to our centres, who continued their strong attack to send the ball down to the forward pocket. The '10 goal' rule was invoked at half-time, and although we switched things around a little in the third quarter five more goals were scored courtesy of Max G, Peitok and Blake.

Thanks to Anthony, Darren and Jamal for playing with the Saints in the third quarter. You all showed great sportsmanship!

Hawkesbury Saints never gave up and in the last quarter with the help of giving over some of our more experienced players – Julian, Luke, Peitok and Billy - the Saints were able to kick five goals.

Our first-year AFL players to the team - Max G, brothers Nicholas and Anthony, Darren and Jamal - are all finding their feet and continuing to show improvement and confidence on the field.

Great work boys! Congratulations on a good win and showing fantastic sportsmanship today!
